Terms & Privacy

How our community works, and how we handle information connected with it.

Review draft — set the effective date before publishing.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to SanctumCraft's website, Minecraft server, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms and the server rules. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Minecraft is owned by Mojang and Microsoft; SanctumCraft is an independent community and is not endorsed by them.

1. Accounts and access

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us through our support channel if you believe your account has been compromised. Access to the server also requires a valid copy of Minecraft and compliance with Minecraft's own terms.

2. Community conduct

Follow the published server rules and staff instructions. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, harass others, reveal someone's private information, impersonate staff, disrupt the server, or use the Services unlawfully. We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably needed to enforce the rules, protect players, or keep the Services operating. You may contact our support channel to appeal a moderation decision.

3. Player content

You retain whatever rights you have in your builds, messages, screenshots, and other material you submit. You give SanctumCraft permission to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that material as needed to operate and promote the Services. Do not submit material you do not have the right to use. Content visible to other players may be copied or shared by them.

4. Store purchases, if offered

Any paid item or perk must be described at checkout, including its price, duration, delivery method, and material limits. Digital perks are tied to the account identified at purchase and do not have cash value or ownership outside the Services. Your purchase is subject to the refund and cancellation terms shown before payment and to any rights you have under applicable law. Contact support if an item is missing, incorrect, or charged twice. If we offer subscriptions, their renewal terms and cancellation method will be stated at checkout.

5. Changes and availability

We may update features, balance, worlds, and rules, or suspend or close the Services. We cannot promise uninterrupted service or permanent preservation of game progress. If a change materially affects a paid perk, we will address it under the purchase terms presented at checkout and applicable law.

6. Limits of responsibility

We aim to run the Services reliably, but they may have outages or errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SanctumCraft does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Updates and questions

We will post updated terms with a new effective date. Material changes should also be announced through a reasonable server or website notice. If you have questions, use the support or contact method linked from the main website.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SanctumCraft handles information connected with the website, Minecraft server, and support requests. The final published version should name the operator and provide a direct privacy contact method.

1. Information we receive

Depending on how you use the Services, information may include your Minecraft username and account identifier; IP address and connection or gameplay logs; messages and content you share in public areas; information you send in support requests or forms; website cookies or similar technical data; and purchase identifiers or transaction records if you buy an item. A payment processor may handle your payment details. The final policy must identify the actual providers and data collected.

2. How information is used

We use information to operate the server and website, deliver purchases where applicable, respond to support requests, enforce rules, investigate abuse, protect the Services, and meet legal obligations. We should collect only the information needed for these purposes.

3. Sharing

Information may be processed by companies that provide hosting, payments, support, or other services used by SanctumCraft. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect players and the Services. Public chat and other content you choose to share may be visible to other players. The final policy must identify the actual categories of providers and any advertising or analytics tools.

4. Cookies and third-party services

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions and, if enabled, analytics. Connected services such as payment or community platforms have their own privacy practices. The final policy must specify which cookies and third-party services are in use and provide any choices required by applicable law.

5. Retention and security

We should keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, including support, abuse prevention, purchase records, and legal requirements. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. The final policy must describe actual retention periods or the criteria used to set them.

6. Children and privacy requests

Children's use of the Services needs special care. The final policy must reflect the server's actual age rules and any parental consent process. To ask about information associated with your account, or to report that a child may have supplied personal information, use the privacy contact method published on this page. Available privacy rights depend on your location.

7. Changes

We will update the date on this page when this policy changes and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
